I love the TriEye sunglasses. This is my 2nd pair. I wear these sunglasses for cycling. Like the 1st pair, I was able to get the mirror adjusted within minutes. It's so nice having the built-in mirror. I highly recommend TriEye sunglasses.
The mirror: I never liked riding with the mirrors that clip on your glasses. They were disorienting to me They are hard to get on the frame right and I could never find the right angle. I am passable at looking over my shoulder by necessity but hate when I have to keep doing it. These have made all the difference. It covers a much wider area than I expected. It’s also nice to see if someone has dropped back with a mechanical or something unexpected. I usually had no clue. Now I can keep easy tabs on my group with a glance. So convenient and compact.
The lenses: I got the photosensitive non mirrored lenses and when I initially pulled them out of the box I didn’t think they seemed dark enough. I was wrong. I have worn them at high noon in Colorado sun with no problems. They are also great at twilight or going through a dark tunnel.
Sizing/fit: I am a 5' tall woman where sport glasses NEVER fit me correctly. They don’t sit right on my nose, are too wide and the arms are too long over my ears. The small frames are PERFECT. I’ve never had bike frames that sit on my face right, they are always too big. With these I don’t have to constantly push them up on my face even when I’m sweating.
I wish I would have bought them sooner. I would buy again with zero regret.
I love these glasses! It makes riding on roads much safer. No more turning my body trying to see behind me. It took a few times practicing with these to find the “sweet” spot, but now I feel confident in their use.
By my third ride I was in love with TriEye. My first ride was discouraging as I never positioned the mirror properly; however I did learn how much pressure it takes to adjust the mirror. I then reread the directions and put the bike on a stationary trainer and adjusted the mirror. Once back on the road, a minor adjustment produced a perfect rear view. Third time out I learned how to turn and tip my head and was very happy with the purchase! Excellent quality and great fit!
Having a rear view mirror is a big plus while riding my bicycle. Used it once so far riding uphill and downhill, so getting use to view was a bit different with each elevation of the ride. Although I wanted it to fit a bit higher on my glasses, the most stable position I found was fitting it all the way down and resting it on my glasses frame. Adding additional paddings on the clips might help but have not tried yet.
Overall it worked well. Have recommended it to several cyclists and rowers.
This is the best solution for a mirror on my bike i have ever tried. I feel much safer and the quality of the sunglasses are fantastic. Love them.
I broke one of the temples and had to get a new pair. In the interim, riding with regular sunglasses was scary. I decided to wait until I could ride again with the TriEyes, they’re simply indispensable!
Works well for me, especially for in-town high-traffic moments.
I have both the clear and polarized versions of the clip on and am extremely happy with both. I have no worries of the mirrors being knocked out of setting and checking to the side and behind me is a snap. Outstanding!
After spending hundreds of dollars buying “ looks” , l decided to spend money buying “security “. This glasses have everything you need + “peace of mind” that is not in other brands. Easy to set up and adapt to. Highly recommended.
Love these !!! I cannot believe the difference of these glasses, I always wore a helmet mirror
These are 100 x ‘s better with in 2 minutes I adjusted to them - clearly can see behind myself- THANK YOU !!
Når man blir vant til å bruke brillen med speilet er dette et utrolig bra produkt! I tillegg er den behagelig å bruke så nå benytter jeg den daglig til og fra jobb og på lengre sykkelturer!
I really like the mirror feature, but I also have a fairly high prescription lens requirement. I have a hard time getting prescription glasses for biking. Most sit too far down and I end up looking over the top to avoid bending my neck all the time, which then puts me at risk of not seeing a pot hole. I was hoping that the tri-eye might help with both the rear view and the front, but the insert is small and sits low in the glasses so I still end up looking over the top of the insert.
I've had mine a little over a month. They take a couple tries to get them right. With that said, they're a huge help. Just competed in a triathlon and I was able to see when I was getting passed. Plus, it was an open course, I was able to see vehicles as they approached. This may sound dumb, but i even avoided spitting on people that may have been in back of me. LOL. These glasses did exactly what I hoped.
Used my tri eye glasses for the first time. I ride in Australia, New Zealand and America so having the rowers type glasses allows me to use both side view mirrors.
I ride a Catrike recumbent trike. The angle of the mirrors is awkward. They reflect too low. I have to tilt my head down to get the right angle. They are great sunglasses and work good enough.

Could be one of the best option for small rear view mirror. The more I ride with
TriEye the better I can see out of it.
limited adjustment and vision isn’t as good as my drop bar mirror.
Everything advertised about these glasses is correct. I feel much safer and my neck is thankful that it no longer gets strained
Took a while to get them adjusted, but now that they're adjusted I love them!
One of the better products I've purchased. The adjustment was easy and does exactly what it's designed to do. You won't be disappointed with the purchase.
